Doing a series of three posters for catalyst (bethecatalyst.org) for high school students to encouage healthy eating. Knowing where your food comes from, and how to make better choices are the main issues. The students will be screen printing these themselves at events and so it has to be limited to one screen. Let me know what you think of the two I have now, with one more to come soon.
Do you think you could include some snappy phrase in the second poster (with the doctor) to group it more with the other design? Maybe even the speech bubble has a similar style to the text background in the first poster, and says something brief like "You know what they say…" or "An apple a day…"
ReplyDeleteAlso, on the first poster, I would change the text to "all over again" (instead of just "again") and make sure that the lines break where it makes most sense (i.e, after vegetables). You could alter the sizing of the text in each line to get them the same size, if that's the look you're going for.
Good luck!
sweet veggies z, lovin the illustration style. is this for fun or work? maybe try taking that text ange's talking about and put it in his face? it seems like the 'eat natural' part should be in the corner like in poster #1, otherwise it seems too direct. also, what is the circular logo at the bottom? could you use it in place of the apple or somehow give it a voice? add a stem? lookin good though, nice and simple.
